Since 1992, the Distance Learning University Foundation Switzerland (Fondation pour la Formation universitaire à distance Suisse, FS-CH) has offered a full range of courses suitable for those who would like to train in a new subject whilst continuing to work or who want to embark on a new career after having a family.
The FS-CH programmes are characterised by their scientific approach and high-quality teaching. The organisation focuses on offering a distance tutoring service which is suited to the needs of each student. Its range of university courses enables students to gain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
The institution is recognised by the Swiss Confederation under the terms of article 11 of the federal law on aid to universities, and by the OAQ, the body for accreditation and quality assurance of Swiss universities. Its professional development courses are eduQua certified.
Its range of university courses includes: economics (two degrees, French and Swiss, are awarded), IT, mathematics, history, psychology, educational sciences, modern literature, communication sciences.
The following professional development courses are offered: communication applied to public relations, business management, and modular training for Adult Educators.
