CONFERENCE TECHNOARK 2010: The new digital spaces!

Day by day, new technology is encroaching on our everyday spaces a little more, via networks of sensors, communicating and “intelligent” objects, and geolocated devices and content. This ecosystem is creating new layers of information which enable a different understanding of space, and create new opportunities and challenges for citizens and businesses.
GUEST SPEAKERS
The 2010 TechnoArk Conference will take a look at these new digital spaces, with assistance from guest speakers including:
Matt Jones, design director at BERG Londong.
Bruno Marzloff, a sociologist whose specialist field is mobility. He is director of Groupe Chronos, an innovation-oriented sociological research firm which observes and analyses mobility issues. To date, Groupe Chronos has sixteen corporate members, including Orange, SFR, Vinci, Renault and SNCF.
Fabien Girardin, a Swiss researcher who led a project at MIT to look at tourist movements in New York, Barcelona and Florence.
Ulrich Fischer, manager of the WALKING THE EDIT project.
